If all streets had numbers rather than words, I would never get lost.

yea thats a nice compromise. I like it as well.
Alphabetize the numbers too.
that would just confuse things more, cause then five would go before one and all Hell would break lose. Alphabetize words, numberize numbers. Who's proposing this to the government?

And in Queens most of the streets are numbers, it really helps me find my way around.
