Wu-Tang at their best was much better than NWA. Better rapppers, better lyricists, more diverse stylistically, and RZA is IMO a better producer than Dre. NWA is probably considered more influential, and they were very, very good, but Wu at its peak was the best collection of MC's ever.
I'm a fag by association then?

:crackhead:
I haven't listened to NWA extensively so I'd have to go with Wu-tang. Shame on a nigga who tries to run game on a nigga, Bring the fuckin Ruckus, Meth, classic stuff.
I loved Method Man's first solo. Tidal.

But I never liked Wu Tang. They just didn't do it for me.

i think arpi is trying to tell us he chooses wu tang.

nwa, more influential. wu tang, better songs, more talented mc's. wu had RZA, GZA, Raekwon, and Ghostface who all dropped killer solo albums. Eazy never really did it for me solo-wise. Only Dre and Ice Cube were good after NWA. Yella and Ren disappeared.
these guys are awesome too!!

can anyone?

Tical.

He's coming out with a new tical album this year, hopefully it will be better than the last one in 2000.

NWA might arguably have been more influential but their music doesn't hold up as well as the Wu. You can still blast Wu shit from a decade ago in your car, can't do the same with NWA. Mad respect to NWA but I gotta go with Wu-Tang.

You know, just after I wrote Tidal, I second guessed myself. I should have grabbed the CD to double check.

Tidal was Fiona Apples debut.
