the left side of his face was about to fall off in a clean sheet.
I'm surprised it didn't get stopped sooner.

Good fight, Lewis looked like shit, I wanna see a rematch.
Lewis was lucky and everyone, including him knew it. He was fat and out of shape.

I am obviously no "true" fan of boxing, but everyone talks about Lewis being one of the best fighters ever, but I hate him.

Technically, he might be great, but he's just so fucking boring. I'd rather watch fights like Ward/Gatti every day of the week over some boring Lewis hugging and pushing match.
Lewis is a piece of shit for his fuckin comments at the end of the fight, what fight was he participating in that he thought he was winning so easily? Saying Klitchsko has no skills, he rocked lewis thoroughly in the 2nd round and if not for the cut he woulda whupped lewis in my opinion on points or 10th, 11th round KO. Lewis punked out when Klitchsko approached him in the ring after the fight.

Every answer for lewis was either, "I wouldn't say that" or "If the fight went on, I woulda.." You woulda nothing. Sadly as always in boxing, a few months from now no one will remember and Lewis will never give him a rematch and no one will care and lewis will have an extra Victory and KO on his record that he didn't earn.

In other news Tyson had a tune up fight tonight, too bad it was against a unranked fighter outside a bar.
Lewis so boring to watch. I hate him. There hasn't been a good heavyweight in 15 years.
lewis is a punk
There hasn't been a good heavyweight since the 1997 version of Holyfield who floored Michael Moorer 7 times, which woulda been the perfect time for him to retire.

What's even sadder is that there is honestly no heavyweight prospects in the near future. Chris Byrd, The Klitchskos, eh. Jones is nearing 35, Lewis 38, everyone is in their late 30's early 40's. The Klitchskos would probably be worse than Lewis, atleast he can speak english but i'd just love to see him get flattened.

But if the future of the division is chris byrd, kirk johnson, and the klitschkos then we got problems. It'll be like the Michael Spinks era allover again, when trevor berbick, bonecrusher smith, and james "quick" tillis reigned supreme. Till Tyson came along after a 3 year lull.
i like Bonecrusher Smith, actually. He gave Iron Mike the fight of his early career.
He was totally screwed. Yes his eye was cut pretty bad. But it looked like he could see out of it. He knew he was winning that fight, and if it went past 9 or 10 he would have knocked lewis on his ass.
Gotti had a broken hand and no one stopped that fight.

Lewis looked like such a chump in the post fight interview. You were getting your ass kicked just give the guy some credit. And keep your Damn hands off the mic.
Rematch!!!!!!!! That was a great fight, and I can't wait to see it go the distance. I think Viatly proved his mettle as a contender, and I have yet another reason to despise Lewis.

I liked Foreman's reaction when he was asked if he'd fight Lewis.......
lewis trained 2 weeks for him. he stepped in for kirk johnson. This was not the same Lewis that kicked Tyson's ass. With proper training Lewis will beat him more decisively.

Lewis should have been training for his fight against Johnson anyway. The "i only had 2 weeks notice" is bullshit. Oh and Lewis said he only had 1 week to prepare. And your right it wasn't the same Lewis that knocked out Tyson. He's older and heavier. And he has a problem fighting big guys. I would love to see a rematch. And here's an idea. Jones vs his brother Vladimar on the same night.
That ended up being a much better fight than I expected. I was really disappointed when they called it. Lewis is such a pompus ass! It sounded like it'd be a good rematch but you're right, if Lewis trained first he'd wallop that giant. Still, how could he not admit Klitscko had heart? He was right there ready to finish Lewis if given the chance.
Lewis looked beatable due to size. And he's 37 years old. Is he capable of getting in proper shape anymore, or has he finally lost a step. Both Klitschkos are very much now in the mix, rematch or not.

he held him the entire fight and barely threw a punch. this fight was a joke. you must be delusional.

lewis was in shape, he was round
anyone else think lewis was in the back watching blackpoitation films while he was "psyching" klitsko out?

You use whatever to your advantage. He was supposed to have been destroyed by Tyson. Savvy vet did what he had to do. Albeit, he did lose. But, made a go of it

but to say he gave tyson the fight of his early career is a joke. he didnt fight. he hid and held and did nothing. it was no contest.
holding on to someone out of fear for the whole fight is not giving someone a good fight.
It was a defining match during a time he was decimating fighter after fighter. Bonecrusher hurt him in that fight. Holyfield used that fight as an example of what things to do vs. Tyson in his.

you have a nasty habit of dismissing point and arguing, as of late, without taking or perhaps even processing what's being said. Is the board just about arguing for you?
