we can only have massive egos if you acknowledge in some way that we are better than you. its like when you put someone above you. they can't actually be better than you unless you have decided in your own mind that they are. so either gooch has a complex or he actually does think people here are better than he is. classic paranoid delusions.
i don't think we are any better than anyone else, you put that label on us, so you can carry that cross if you like. you can also decide to lump the whole of us in with the few who do think they're better than everyone else. again, thats your hang up, not mine, to carry. you can go on thinking people are better than you are, but thats a pretty sad existance if you ask me.

Rooner at least has offered a logical and consistent argument as to why he disagrees with my thesis. That's fine.
Gooch, on the other hand, continues to cling to his "you must be making up for some deficiency in your real life if you criticize people on a messagboard" faulty logic. I know you took psychology in 10th grade, but get over yourself.
You tell people to go to another board when you know the posting styles don't match with what exists there. You ban anyone who does the same on your board. It's a fact. You have yet to deny or adress that issue. Just continue to assume I have some horrible insecurity in my life.
I liked YMB too (I'd prefer to post on CDIH where there isn't much conflict--contrary to popular belief, but there is a lot of interesting conversation about either politics or cumming in your mouth. Whatever the issue, posts are logical, thought out, and convey an opinion. They may be long paragraphs, or they may be a sentence long like many of DIGs and Sleeper's. But that's why I like it.
As I mentioned in the other thread about bad posters. I also liked Hottie, and Gooch and 460 because they were natural enemies, who despite being either stupid, unfunny, or paranoid, at least attempted to engage in discussions. The "everything turn into a chat thread" that Alkey and AIMP did on OA.com before the end, and what I saw on BP when I was there is painfully bad, which is why there's no reason for me post there. I avoid it. It just gets too much and so I avoid it. Rooner likes both, Gooch likes both. That's swell.
PS. Gooch still hasn't even attempted to address or rationalize his hypocrisy. I've brought it up 5 times already, and so let's just acknowledge the fact that he can't becuase he's knows he is in the wrong.

there is no hypocrisy. BP is not as free as CDIH, and says so in FAQ. it is not meant to be an improvement or "better" board. it was made to be a place to post, and the FAQ is a conglomeration of philosophy of those in charge...which i know you have issue with what it says...but serves as a template. if its not for you, then it isn't. but thats what the BP is for, and for those that are there, it works. So, if the audience is limited, so be it. it was never made to be the ultimate board. its purpose is far far smaller.

I find that different posting styles are refreshing. I'm over here right now because it's a welcomed change of pace for me after 5 months solely posting on Bored Planet. I just don't have the attention span to stay consistent on multiple boards, I'll give it a try however. I do like most of the people here and how things are structured. I just don't see why most of you get so bent on how other people post. Galt reminds me of an craggy, bile-filled, old man harping over and over about using emoticons and short responses. I read alot of posts completely bashing on everyone who posts on Bored Planet, lumping everyone together.

I am understanding that. And when one board is made for the specific reason of one manner of posting and mine is different, I won't go over to that board. What's the point? Why is it that me, the bad guy, asshole, egotist realizes this, yet Gooch and Hottie encourage the idiots to come here and post their chat threads when everyone knows that this isnt' their kind of board.

I apologize for misreading that specific post. But, there is countless posts making that same statement on this board that are defintely not being sarcastic.... And, that's fine. I don't really care how BP is perceived, there's a few here that will knock us no matter what we do. I mean, just a few members showing up here for a matter of hours two days ago has thrown poor Galt out of alignment.

all are welcome here. the nature of this board means you have the right to say whatever you want, and some people might not be able to handle that. doesnt make us better, just means you need a pretty thick skin and the ability to not take yourself too seriously.
