I'm a lifeguard at a pool over the summer. The ocean is fun and so are lakes. I swam competitatvly in high school so I'm used to not only the clearness of the water in a pool but also the chemistry. I don't like lakes and oceans because the water feels different.
Also, I'm a certified swim instructor and do that over the summer. Perhaps I could give some pointers to the n00bs...
I hold the dubious honor of being the only person never modded who has also never been to a party who in the past had a shared account with a vegetable reference that has had consensual sex with a woman who wasn't from the board that also knows what >) means and remembers the end of the golden age.

Ive never swam in a lake. I hate the beach to no end. I dont like the sun, the beach has annoying bratty little kids running around. I used to have a pool back when I was little....but we moved and I guess we forgot to take the pool with us. :7:

i've never been to a beach up here. i used to swim in the ocean in florida quite a bit though. it's kinda fun when the little fish nibble at your ankles, but not so much fun when a big fin swims by about 3 feet away. we never had our own pool but in fla we had one down the street, but that kinda sucked cos of all the bratty kids and snobby housewives.

seagull poop
beach used as an ashtray
fat chix not leaving anything to your imagination
not being able to throw a football around in the water
and i always get sand in my food

When I was five my mommy made me take swimming lessons but I screamed and cried and wouldn't put my head under the water, so I got kicked out.
