How about you just end the Earned Income Credit, child tax credit, and dependant deductions on your taxes, or cap it at two kids worth? It would at least make people think about it once per year. Or even better, create a child tax. For every kid you have, you have to pay the state $3000/yr. That would help pay for schools and such too.

Well, here is my issue as somebody that has decided not to procreate. I am a homeowner and if I want to better my home why do my taxes have to be raised? School taxes, mind you. I don't have any children that I am sending to school.
