how come the front page first topic and last replied box never match up with the actual first topic and last replied in the pit?
i don't think its because of whats saved in history because even when i go to a computer i haven't been on it never matches up

The threads displayed on the front page pop up as new threads are posted. You'll see the newest one on top and so on till they get bumped off the page. Galt's "old man" thread was the newest thread before this one.

The "last 10 posts" area is broken. It's supposed to update everytime somebody posts, but we mods have to manually update it in the moderator control panels every so often.
