Installing from cd

for some reason when i try to install a cd the autorun feature will not start. then when i try to start setup from explorer, same thing. then i try to do it from the run command,same thing again.
help!!!!!!!!!!

That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.

Well what version of windows is it? I think enabling autorun is different for different versions of Windows.

And remember Google is your friend.

i am using XP. its not only autorun. if i go through explorer and click on the setup.exe file, no go.

WinXP autorun help. Try that see if it helps. If it doesn't then obviously something else is causing it.

i wouldnt even know where to begin to follow those instructions. i dont think that would help anyway, i cant even install by clicking on setup in explorer
