Newsgroups kick the shit out of any filesharing program. simply because you're not relying on some jerkoff on the other end to get your files. Also, there's a bit of protocol in existence in newsgroups that I don't think you get in filesharing. People hate newsgroups because there's no pretty interface for it. but, if you know what you are doing, you can find just about anything, and download it quickly.
Have you ever seen a connection of 7.5Mbps on filesharing? I get it consistently on newsgroups.

I used to like Newsgroups, but they annoy the shit out of me nowadays. Splitting up files into 75+ peices just doesnt cut it for me anymore. At least with DC, if I get cut off, I can choose to resume the file later from either that person or from someone else.

hmmmm, using winrar or winace to compile 75 pieces... or, waiting for some jerkoff to turn his computer back on... I'll take the 45 seconds to re-compile, any day.
Like I said, if you know what you are doing... :thumbs-up:

Yeah I agree I used to be a DC junkie. But as I got more and more into newsgroups I love it.
