Should it be held in any higher regard than any other place? I think not.
But then again, I don't think black people should have to drink from a seperate water fountain or eat at a restaurant other than Denny's.
This is not a racial issue, I understand, but it is an issue of one sect of people being treated with a different level of respect than another. Is the solution to desecrate(sp?) churches across the land? NO, the solution is to raise the level of respect for everything else.
Religion is not the last bastion of kindness in the world. In contrast, it is the longest running scam in the world.
