I can't see how leaving something in your eye for that long is healthy. You are probably doing more damage to your eyes.
I have the disposable ones you wear for two months...they usually last me about six months before I have to throw them out. I don't wear contacts everyday since I like the glasses I have now.
Don't give up on them so soon, Gooch. They are a pain at first, but before you know it, you won't even realize you have them in. Just don't get so drunk you forget to take them out at night. You'll wake up with your eyes feeling like concrete slabs.
