The Batman Beyond movie is defunct- it's just unfeasible to do.

And though these aren't sequel/prequels, these are remakes which I guess could count:

A Michael Bay remake of TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE.

And an all-CGI blood remake of DAWN OF THE DEAD.
