Rather than say this out in the open, i think it would have been more cosiderate of you to take Mr. Maynerd aside and tell him of this problem. I am sure that he would have preferred to have been saved this embarrassment. Please try to think of others feelings before you act. It will make your life and the lives of others better. peace be with you.
I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.
That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.
