Quote:So, my company had an international meeting last week and took us all to dinner. We went to this uppity chinese restaurant and supposedly had 'the best seat in the house', which ended up being in the kitchen.Maybe it's a chink thing...
My question to you all is...
Is the best seat in the house actually the table in the kitchen? If so, why?
If not, where is the best seat?
To me, sitting in the kitchen is annoying because there are people constantly walking by, it's noisy, it smells and it's hot. But, apparently this was "the chef's table". In the end, I was not impressed and would've rather sat at a table in the corner away from the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. Maybe I lack culture, but this is my perspective.
I hold the dubious honor of being the only person never modded who has also never been to a party who in the past had a shared account with a vegetable reference that has had consensual sex with a woman who wasn't from the board that also knows what >) means and remembers the end of the golden age.
