I've been on vacation all week, so yes I have too much time on my hands.

CDIH is my homepage. I read it all the time, but seldom find a post that moves me enough to actually reply.

Finally, this whole "we vote on everything" concept is full of shit. One person owns the board and that person actually makes the decisions. Since that person appears to be different to the name that is listed as the registrar of the URL, I asked the question.

You are full of shit. Seriously.

It's not like we gather at the round table and vote Yay or Nay in our pin stripe suits and flashy ties, but everything gets discussed in one way or another. Whether it be in IMs, chat, or in the mod forum, everybody contributes some input or feelings on the given situation. If a mod/admin is not around we hold off on final decisions until we get a majority response. There's nothing more to it despite what your prexisting internet insecurities might tell you.

It's not that hard to run a message board.

So, what you're telling me is that if I wanted to invest some money in advertising on this board that you would vote on it? I think not.

At this point I could go into a dissertation about how my history here should warrant me a certain level of respect, but it would certainly fall on deaf ears. I could respond to arpi with some heartfelt diatribe about how sad his life truly is. But, I just don't care enough about him to bother.
