reagan isn't the greatest president ever but he's by far not the worst. yes, he brought about the defeat of the soviet threat. no he didn't kiss their ass and tippy toe around their feelings like presidents before and after him did.
yes, he targeted the silly tax code aimed at punishing those who worked and succeeded, instead rewarding the unmotivated and lazy.
he got our hostages returned from iran without starting a war. something most liberals would love today.
he kicked the shit out of Khadaffi, nipping his building attitude in the bud. has libya been a thorn in our side since? no. why? because reagan didn't fuck around. he took out 30 libyans, one of which was khaddaff's adoptive daughter..
