the reason the cable companies won't take nfl network is their fee is huge, and they still don't get access to nfl sunday ticket cause of its exclusive deal with directv. so basically they're saying "fuck you nfl, if we can't have all the games, we're not taking your 5 thursday night games either"

i get the channel for free with direct tv, i watch it probably a few hours a week. since i work on sunday its nice to watch some of the games on tuesday and wednesday. i dont think i would bother paying for it, but its a entertaining channel.
