I'm sorry but I don't think we have a "right" to have to see that video of someone's husband/father/son getting murdered, that's an ultimate invasion of privacy, especially when it's against the family's wishes. Seeing the video won't make me any more pissed off.

If you're worried that Americans don't understand the weight of our predicament, maybe the government should start doing something about it. Bush has to get off his fucking ass and do something!!!

I wonder how much understanding most people are even capable of when there are people protesting the war against terrorism and preaching peace. I was watching the Real World a few weeks ago when they aired the September 11th episode, and it really is quite apparent that people outside the New York area and Washington DC really do not understand things in the way we all do....the rest of the country will never truly understand the predicament our country is in until they experience the terror closer to their homes.

They were there for that? I haven't watched Real World in like 4 seasons, but that's one episode I would like to see. Any idea when it's on?

I find myself a glutton for this. I downloaded O&A's show for that day, and I'd like to listen to Stern and Imus' show from that day as well.

Yes, they were in Chicago. They taped the episode from 9/10-9/14. Literally they were FINE by the end of the episode. It was on last week, so I think it should rerun before next week's episode as well as on the weekends when they play the show in blocks.

Oh that's right they were in Chicago. I don't care about how it affected people in Chicago. It must have been last year that was in NYC. I didn't watch that one either. I think the last one I saw was in New Orleans --Kelley was yummy

I can see what your saying, but I'm just interested to find out the initial reaction of people when the information was coming in so fast. How they dealt with rumours, handled emotions, etc. The initial reactions of people are the most real. Like socialogical research.

I've gone back and read the thread at OA.com about it numerous times.

There were two arrests of other kidnapers this morning. The report then said they told officials where to find the body. They're singing like birds to save their pathetic lives.

they only show that for a few seconds. they also show them holding his head, which is on screen for a pretty long time while they scroll their list of demands. very mortal kombat like.
the first 2 and 1/2 minutes are them making him say certain things

I just saw it now...it's horrible...I didn't really want to see them kill him, I wanted to see what the propaganda was...I shouldn't have looked at this when I should be trying to go to bed...I hope his wife never sees this...

Yea, it looks like he was...he didn't scream or anything and his body looked a bit limp, unless he passed out in fear. I don't know.....

yea because he didn't move or fight it. it looked a little to easy for them to do. plus i think i heard he was already dead but i'm not sure.
