It is the record companies, they release them onto p2p proggies and sites. They will also be flooding the p2p market with a new brilliant scheme soon. The first 30 seconds of the track will be the song, so anyone who checks during the d/l will think it is fine. Then they will have either the artist themselves or a record executive, cut off the song. Then start explaining the bad points of piracy and demanding you go out and buy the album in stores.

They are also gonna start running ads in MTV & VH1, using musicians. Britney Spears I heard went of on a hissy fit and even used the word, 'frickin'. DMX compares piracy to 'someone walking into a store and stealing a cd'.
