You do realize that all of these bads (I don't know about Tribe tho) were all influenced my music and bands from the 60's and 70's? Led Zep was a band from this time period, cam you say that they suck - or that they didn't influence practically all rock and metal to follow afterwards?

That being said, I never liked the Doors. Musically I think they're average at best, and Morrison was their only reason for existing. I don't think Morrison was all that special either, he had a way with words, that's about it.

Agreed....they do have other songs, you know - other songs that are better than Stairway...

All I'm saying is that there were bands in the 60's and 70's that rocked, and there were bands that sucked. I think the Doors were one of the bands who sucked, and just got by on the fact that Morrison was a nutjob and potheads bought into the bullshit he spoke. Again, take him out of the equation and musically that band is no better than average.

FYI. On the CD "Woke Up This Morning and Found Myself Dead" Track 4 = "Morrisons Lament" is the song where he wants to FHITA and EHLP and FHITAH he was totally fucked up and slurry
I come from the doors bb btw and heard this place was cool. So far so good
