Election Predictions - who's going to win?
#21
zogby picks kerry and his poll has historically been the most accurate of all of the polls.
I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.

That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.

i saw that. interesting

you will see a few kerry "surprises" that are designed to make him palatable to those on the fence...economy reminders, some magazine/newspapers and a few Mike McCurry surprises. The Kerry campaign and push has been designed to make you think before you put down the lever for a man who hasn't exactly made most lives better in the last 4 years. My own father, who is a longtime republican, though he doesn't trust Kerry at all, will probably do this b/c economic factors, putting another child thru college, etc etc. Same reason he voted Clinton the first time round from George Sr.

Now with the new Bin Laden tape basically proving Bush isn't gonna parade him out before the election Bush needs something to pull outta his ass.

Maybe he purposely misplaced the 350 tons of explosives in Iraq and will personally go over there this weekend and find them himself. Not like anyone will say that it goes on to prove that the war effort is terribly misplanned cause like with a retarded child everyone forgives him for any wrongdoing and pat him on the head when he does something marginally ok.

I have no idea how to go about voting even if I wanted to. If they let me do that shit on my compouter I might think about it, but otherwise I'm not going to waste my time.

You have to be registered first.

DMV usually annoys the fuck out of you by asking you a couple of hundred times.

Ten years ago I did a change of address/register crap and the fucks told me I wasn't registered. They lost my form, so I had to go to Supreme Court and do any emergency petition to vote. The fucking lawyer cunt for the County Election office tried to argue that I shouldn't be able to vote. Thankfully the judge ruled in my favor and signed an order allowing me to vote.

Choose or lose, vote or DIE!

A little over 110 million vote (105 million voted in 2000), which isn't a big difference given how close the last election was, and the fact that 95 million voted in '96 and 105MM in '92. The more voters, the better for Kerry.

Bush gets 290+ electoral votes and wins the popular vote.

Bush wins Florida, Wisconsin, and Ohio. Kerry wins Pennsylvania, Minn, Michigan, Iowa.
112 million votes so far (not counting the absentee and what not). High, but not nearly as high as everyone was talking about. I was seeing projections about 120 million voters expected.

If bush wins Ohio, Iowa, and NM, he gets 286 votes not quite my 290 prediction.

Biggest error was that Michigan went Kerry and Iowa seems to be going Bush
