I've heard about Paradise Lost and Inferno a lot. But I had stupid english professors that never had us read any good books. It was always some nigger loving hippy bullshit.

I searched on Amazon and there were like 15 different Inferno books. All with different titles, different amounts of pages, different authors. Some about comedy, etc etc etc. Which one should I be buying?

Can I just get a quick synopsis of the books and what they each about?

DANTE wrote the books, however, since he couldn't even be considered a "new" american, it was necessary to translate his gibberish into american.

The different names are probably translators, editors or other similarly situated blowhards that feel they have a new insight into Dante.



Dante wrote The Divine Comedy in what amounts to three parts, Purgatory, Inferno and Paradise.

so the "Divine Comedy" is inclusive of both Inferno and Paradise Lost? If i buy that one book, it's all three of those parts?

Dante Alighieri wrote the Divine Comedy: Paradiso, Purgatorio and Inferno.

The copy I have of this boiok is supposedly in English. I can't get through it. I have no clue what the fuck he's talking about. I know it's supposed to be great but I guess my vocabulary and education is too limited to enjoy it.
