I called a buddy of mine on New Year's eve at about 2:30 AM (he lives in CA), and I know I talked to him, but I have no idea what was said. I've called him twice and he hasnt' called me back. I hope I didn't say anything bad about his wife or two kids.

I don't understand how people get that drunk. I have a friend who calls me sometimes like on weekends or holidays when he's drunk. Then the next day has no clue that he even spoke to me let alone what we talked about, yet he doesn't call me and just babble, he actually makes sense.

Oh, I get like that a fair amount. It's not like I get really drunk, I just don't always remember the particulars of stuff that happen. People will bring something up, and I'll totally forget it until they bring it up, and then it comes all back.

So I know I called him, but I don't have a clue what we talked about. I hadn't talked to him on the phone probably in six months. But we email a fair amount. He hasn't responded to my emails either.

Maybe he's just on vacation. I'll give it another 2 months before I get concerned that he hates me.

No. I don't do racist humor. Sometimes I might pull out the cliched "it's the jew's fault" for random occourances like the weather, but I try and stay away from shock value.

for me it's the consistant flow of free shots of vodka. i just don't know how to say no. and last night specifically was also a 15 hour shift on about 3 hours of sleep. but like galt said, it's not like i completely don't remember anything, it's just the specifics of what i said. i rarely remember my cab ride home at night, even when i'm not drinking just because it's a part of my routine that i do every night so it just doesn't stand out.

I didn't drink that much that night.

And Sleeper was the first person I ever said the "high pitch eric" thing to. It was that night.
