Quote:Where is Ulysses, by James Joyce?
Lady Chatterley's Lover D. H. Lawrence???
In Cold Blood, Capote???

ulysses? there isnt a human alive who has read the whole thing and/or understood it.

Lady chatterlys lover?!?! complete crap that is only known because it caused such a stir at its publishing for its risque content.

In Cold Blood is one of the greatest books of all time. it may not have been included because it is not fictional and therefore not a novel.

And catcher in the rye is the most overrated teen angst crap ever written. Kids ove itl because it gibes with their whole, "the world is so phony and no one knows how deep i am" teen bullshit.
I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.

That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.

Ulysses: I had a professor in college who was a lunatic. His last name was Sultan. How's that for an ice breaker.

Anywho, if I recall correctly, when he was an undergrad, he wrote a 430 page paper on why he should be allowed to write a thesis on Ulysses. He was granted permission, and then wrote a 500 page thesis on Ulysses.

It was a terrible semester.

They shoulda also included the "death in the family" novel when robin died and batman killed the joker with supermans help, I cried.

I think I read that, sounds familiar.

Robin sucked anyway, fuck him.

I forget which robin it was but I think it was voted on by the fans or something to have him killed off.

I remember buying the book when I was a kid like late 80's, I still have it somewhere.

pictures in a panel format, published by DC comics. It's a comic book.

when i was a kid there was a cartoon called ulysses 20something. it was in outerspace with ulysses as the dad and his son and some weird alien girl and a little red robot. they were lost and trying to get home and i loved it. i've tried finding it since and all i've come accross is a couple of still pics and i had the theme song on my old comp. i loved that show, i'm guessing it was cancelled before they ever made it home.
