Actually, you get used to it. I don't even bother trying to find a pair of sneakers I like, I just ask what they have in my size and then pick from the 3 or 4 they bring out.

As for clothes, the main inspiration for me to lose weight is so that I can buy a t-shirt that doesn't say "Big Daddy" or "Big Dogs" on it.
