They're both grade A shows.. it's a question of style

If you're looking for a better STORY then go with Les Mis.. it's almost purely story
and bring the handkerchiefs

If you're looking for a more balanced production (less story than Les Mis but more elaborate scenery and costuming, as well as effects) Go with Phantom.. Phantom has a lot of eye candy

On a non-birthday gift related note, has anyone seen De LaGuarda (sp)? I really want to see that but I don't know anyone who has....

I am soooooo dying to see that. I know someone that went and said it was absolutely amazing.

Les Mis fucking rocks. Awesome music, and story. Great acting. I think Les Mis has better music than Phantom, but thats a personal thought.

I just saw The Producers yesterday, and it was the funniest thing I've seen in awhile. But you;ll never get tickets for that so HAHA!
