It was taken down by now but basically it started off with still images of hitler on the screen. In the background was hitlers voice giving a speech with english subtitles on the screen, slowly the images of hitler morph into bush. Then you realize the english text below is a speech bush gave about declaring war in Iraq. Then they focus on still images of bush with the text still there as well as the sounds of hitler giving his speech so it's bush's face, hitlers voice, and the text is bush's declartion of war on iraq.
Then it ends with "sound familiar"
so basically they weren't comparing them as much personally as they were comparing Bush's invasion of Iraq and his reasons as similar to those Hitler used to annex austria for example before the war.

The only time Hitler was ever a funny subject was in "The Producers". That's it.

you have to be kidding me. Hitler is comedy gold. One of my favorite Conan bits ever was when they were talking about how Phillip Morris is doing anti-smoking ads now and they showed a few that they made. One had Hitler sitting in a room and one of his officers comes in and says "Cigarette Fuhrer?" to which Hitler swiftly replies "Nein!" and the annoncer says "Be like Hitler, Don't Smoke!". I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life. Also, the South Park episode where Cartman dressed as Hitler. Also, just about every other instance Hitler has been used comedically with the exception of TFEC.
