He mumbles when he talks. He's so afraid of the bosses (the reason he covers the mouthpiece when he makes personal calls, the reason he leaves through the back door every night so everyone thinks he's here later than he his, the reason he keeps a fucking excel spreadsheet as to when the global sales manager gets into the office every day) that I can never hear what he's saying. I have to get taken away from my important work of the day (which has been ZERO today) and strain to hear him.

Yes, he faces directly at me. Imagine if you will... a T. We both sit where one line intersects the other, but on opposite sides. We both directly face the 90 degree angle.
