I didn't think Casino was all that great. I mean I'll watch it if it's on, but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it or anything.

I thought Casino got a bad rep because everyone started to compare it to goodfellas, mainly because of the cast and it being a gangster flick. When the movie was nowhere near the same and deniros charcter was completely different compared to his role in goodfellas. I think its an excellent movie and the dialouge and story are awesome. The supporting cast was top notch as was in goodfellas, don rickles was amazing.

My only complaint was Sharon Stone, everyone went all wacky about her "amazing" performance when in all honesty I thought she sucked.

Another really good movie that also got a bad rep was The Patriot, everyone started to compare it to braveheart when once again it was nothing like braveheart.

you know, I think Sharon Stone is what makes that movie "ok" to me. I never really felt she was as good as she's been made out to be. She's not even all that hot (well she was in Total Recall, but that's about it).
