A's next stud pitcher - ....get to the free agent pool

all you need to know:

harden will be ok this year and next. in the year 2005 he will be a pitching god! He will be the new Glavine (the glavine of 5 years ago), except he will have better inside stuff.

I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.

That's just like our Arpi... except he doesn't wave or anything. He just says mean things to you.

Nominated for," 2005 poster of the year", by 4 out of 6 mods!

When was the last time Glavine threw 97 and had control problems? Or threw right handed for that matter.

edit: Rich Harden: Career Minor League Numbers:

42 starts: 14-10 227 innings 3.09era 1.22whip 287K 114BB

I didn't realize he walked that many people. Way more than Penny. Maybe a better comparision is Matt Clement or Darren Driefort.

i think so, he's a bright shining star on an otherwise dreadful season for the Mets.

I think this one would be a tropical storm, not yet the severity of a hurricane but bigger then your run of the mill downpour.

because you just wanted to see Bill Beane's name again and get a chubby as you imagine kissing him on the mouth and basking in the glory of his player evaluations.
