so anyways, live really close to shea. growing up my babysitter worked at shea so she used to bring me to games all the time & i used to sit with the players wives & moms behind home plate. but i dunno if i was ever really a met fan. i was pretty indifferent. in high school my boyfriend was a big yankee fan so we used to go to games all the time. when i started going to school in boston for college, i hated it. i really hated boston. i wanted to be home. the only thing that made me happy was that we were able to get wpix up in boston so i could watch the yankees play & was able to see the ticker tape parade in 96 that my boyfriend & friends were at while i was stuck in school. so i dunno, i guess i became a yankee fan because it reminded me of home when i was miserable.

then of course they got david wells the next year & i just love that big fat tub of a pitcher. so i started to pay more attention to them then.

1) When Pedro threw inside to Matsui, they immediatly showed only fans of Asian descent who were wearing Boston apparel.

2) The tremendous delay they have on the audio made the girl singing God Bless America look like she was retarded. I've also been noticing how the delay really makes Joe Buck look like he's calling the plays just before they are over.
