channing frye is seriously my only bright spot on this team. he had 12 rebs against the pacers yesterday, 10 defensive.

there isnt even brightness in hte future...i think davis and penny are the only expiring contracts so we cant land anyone decent next year, either. just someone who has one good year so isiah will give him the GNP of latvia

penny and davis will probably be traded for more contracts that don't expire for 3-4 years.

quentin had 1 good year, basically. he was decent on the clips, and isnt that overpaid because his contract is still from 2 years ago. but he is overrated, all of his points last year basically were off breaks, double teams of amare, and bad 3s. on larry brown's team, there are less breaks, there is no big man drawing doubles. so what does that leave?

he also now has a bad back, one big reason the suns wanted to get rid of him when his value was still decent

yeah but everytime I see the box scores he has like 4 points, 1 board, no assists.
I mean he's not that bad, is he?

when there is nobody getting double teamed to leave him open for 3s...yes
his whole career, he's had a dominant big man inside. amare in pheonix, brand and odom in LA. put him on last year's heat, they'd be unstoppable

This Knicks team is amazing to me. Before the season, I thought they'd be around a .500 team but Frye would be a huge bust. So far, it turns out they're an INCREDIBLY poor sub-.500 team but Frye is fucking great.
I don't even see why Brown plays James, Rose, Marbury, Q, basically all the vets. This team has no hope, just put the young guys in and lose every game but give them some experience. Maybe they'll be a nice core in 5 years...

he doesnt play james...that bust has been inactive more than penny.
but i agree...kinda. they should start frye, curry, ariza, robinson, and marburry, with crawford, woods, lee, and butler rounding off the rotation. minimal minutes for anyone else
