they are, but you can't compare the two since they come from different genres.

I never got into the peppers, I tried but they sounded average & poppy to me. Nothing all that special.

yea after listening again and paying more attention there are some songs in the middle i find boring

but overall i still like it. its not mindblowing or revolutionary, just nice to listen to

my brothers like it more than I do. for me, it just doesn't do anything. Took me at least 3 listens to appreciate the new Tool album.


Also deserves a listening or two: State Radio, Band of Bees, and Galactic
