Yes and get a 3 year warranty too.
I was pricing out a DELL XPS last night and it would cost me $3300, that does include the 17" LCD/TV monitor, DVD burner and some other stuff, but overall I'd go for it.
The XPS is a nice system because you can go in and add or change things without having uber technical skills..

Yes. From what I have heard, Dell's XPS series is great for gaming.

Don't buy the Dell. Quit being lazy and just build your own machine. It's very rewarding and allows the most flexibility.

I can't possibly build that machine for that price.

Why not? What makes you think that Dell can? Which Radeon 9800 card are they giving you? The 128MB or the 256MB? Is it the Pro version? What kind of sound card does the machine have? Does it support more than a gig of RAM? Why do you need "dual DVD RW" drives? I saw a 250 GB drive for like $159 after rebate at Best Buy yesterday.
At the end of the day, the reason why you can't build the machine for the same price as the Dell machine is that you're not going to use el cheapo components like they will. Sure, they give you a Radeon 9800 card, but I guarantee you that it's not the same one that you'd get at Retail, it's an OEM version.
It's a cop-out to buy a Dell machine. Finally, do you really want an LCD monitor? IMO the picture quality just isn't there yet compared to CRT monitors.

LCD is not worth it yet, unless your just trying to impress people who dont know shit. they dont refresh fast enough and games still get that ghosting effect. Just get a 21" Flat CRT for the same price. i still say build your own. i plan on ordering all my components within the next few days. just gotta check everything over another 100 times

Ever since I got my first monitor with a Trinitron tube, everything else just lacks brightness and true color. I'd take a refurbed Trinitron over that "true-flat" monitor any day of the week.
