I love him. He's like those happy old people who become known for sitting by the side of a busy street and waving to passing cars. People drive by regularly and beep just to see him and get him to wave to them.

if the board wants arpi to be a mod, then i say let him be mod. i just dont see what the big deal about becoming one is. its just for maintaining the board, a caretaker. moving, editing and deleting posts and threads.

you know, back on OA, we tended to stay away from anyone who was trying to push themself on others to wanting to be one. As far as I was concerned, there was some great mod choices (whipthisOut not included)...that really set tone (slash, face, howie, gonzy, sean, vg, etc). That aside, Arpi is a good tone-setter

I hold the dubious honor of being the only person never modded who has also never been to a party who in the past had a shared account with a vegetable reference that has had consensual sex with a woman who wasn't from the board that also knows what >) means and remembers the end of the golden age.
