Because the varying volumes of different parts of your show, I try to listen to the podcast with my door shut at work. However, that is not always possible.
I was wondering if there was any way you could get the drops to be at the same volume level as your voices, or vice versa. Currently, I have to constantly turn the volume on my speakers up to hear your voices, and then hopefully turn it back down quick enough so everyone in the office doesn’t hear, “you sound like a gee dee pussy to me” or “ she needs to get up off her fat ass and lose some gee dee weight,” etc.
While I’ve got your attention, I would appreciate it if Steve could put the link back up to the listener run message board again, or do I need to get up at 5:00 am and call in during the ICWTTA segment?

I'm not sure why the drops don't come out the same level. We actually have them set lower than the voices when they pay on air.

Sitting here missing my dog Hoover. I had to put her down on Dec. 1 at 9:30 am. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my whole life. She was my first dog I ever had. I had her 11 years and 1 day. If I knew how to post a picture I would of her. I have many losts and hurts but this is by far the worst.

Finally getting a little computer time. My daughter got a Sims game for Christmas and spent all day, and I mean ALL DAY, playing it. I downloaded Christmas pics to my Facebook. Check 'em out.

So, I really hate watching TV with my father-in-law. He's a hibitual channel surfer. He'll stick on one channel just long enough for me to get interested in what's on, and then change.
Here was this morning with him. The things I have in quotes are what I was thinking...
potthole: "Oh, cool, Mythbusters!"
*Watches for two minutes. FIL changes channel, show isn't even in commercial.*
potthole: "Uh, ok... Vegas Vacation, been awhile since I've seen this, not bad."
*Watches for five minutes. FIL changes channel.*
potthole: "History Channel now? Humm, a show on the czars, looks interesting..."
*Watches for 45 seconds. FIL changes channel.*
potthole: "Food Network. This is dumb."
*Watches for ten minutes, show goes into commercial. FIL watches two commercials, changes channel.*
potthole: "Back to Mythbusters, sweet! Oh, wait, they're wrapping up the last experiment of the show. Oh, there are the credits."
*Potthole gets up and leaves the room to go grab a book to read*

Nah, I won't have any contact with them.
At least in an official sense. For the past week I've been trying to get ahold of my old HR director because of some questions/concerns I've got about my leaving the company, but as of yet they haven't gotten back in touch with me. Which is beginning to make me a little angry.

Well, if the companies are merging, or if your new company took over your old company, that could explain the delay in him/her getting back to you.
