Tyra Banks, Pam Anderson, Julius Irving, Quincy Jones, Natasha Kinski and a basketball with the entire 1992 Orlando Magic Team (including Penny Hardaway and Shaq), and a ton of insignificant has beens and wannabe's from TV shows.

I was in syndicated TV production and I hung out with Don Cornelius and Tyra at a convention in Vegas before she became a "super model". what a sweetheart. She was very down to earth.

I was always into history and historic reminants. It started as collecting artistic prints signed by artists like degas, picasso, and dali. Then when I had time with a friend we would go to the city down by Letterman and on broadway and we'd actually meet many stars. My first was meeting Al pacino in 96 I believe it was when he was doing an off broadway show. Then it grew and grew. I have met people from regan, gorbachev, nixon, and schwarzopf. To mantle, dimaggio, the 96 yankees all of them. Muhamed ali, frazier, foreman, tyson. And countless movie stars like pacino, pesci, deniro, travolta, tarantino. Those years from 1996-1999 I got quite a few autographs. It was really a fun point in my life. Then i also bought many autographs such as Lennon, James Dean, Orson welles, and napoleon. At first i like many thought to myself "it's a piece of paper with ink, who cares?" But when you frame it and hang it up and stare at it, it's really a feeling of awe. Especially when I got my John Lennon and especially A Napoleon signed doctrine while he was Emperor.

Sloats, please accept my humblest of apoliges. I knew his last name, but i haven't looked at in a long time. Even though now is probably the time to remember an event such as that.

I will agree with you, I think it could be one of the top 5 most meaningful events in American History, not just sporting events.

Oh trust me yes i know, but i did pay a pretty penny for most of them. I would never sell them since i bought them for historic value and admiration.

The most expensive one if the napoleon doctrine which i got through my cousin who lives in france. After 6 months of paperwork and authentication processes' the total sum was $3,750.00 for it. It's worth more naturally anywhere between 6-8,000.00

The lennon signature was not as expensive only $350.00 and the dali prints I got from my uncle, the picasso i bought through a dealer in the city.

I know their worth and yes it is good to have something of value, but i bought it for it's meaning not dollars ya know?

The autograph i am most proud of is the one I have of james dean. At the brooklyn party i think those who were in my office saw some of them and the james dean one was there. I dunno if you saw it but it is a gorgeous piece. But then again there is the humphrey bogart framed display that Anthony stood in front of and busted my balls about, lol.

I have a few sports figures' autographs, I have Mark Howe (former flyer), Otis Andersen, and Gary Carter. I also have Peter Faulk's autograph (proud of that one). A friend of mine wrote to Jimmy Stewart years ago and got a signed photo in the mail. You could tell it was real because it really did look like it was written by an 80-something year old man was was close to the end.

Virgingrrl: You scare me :) Do you remember the little ditty Joey, Wheels, and Snake (AKA Zit Remedy) sang for the junior high prom?

Everybody wants something, They'll take your money, and never give up.

Ughhh..it makes me sick. I actually never sent away for any of those horrible autographs. The cast was at a mall signing which goes to show how horrible a career they had. It was a good show at the time though.

Wow, I never expected to get a Degrassi JH flashback from this thread! After all these years and all those dead brain cells, I too never lost the theme song.

As for autographs, I've actually never asked for one, though I've met several celebrities. (Oh wait, I asked LL Cool J to sign a $20 when I was kid but then forgot and spent it.) If possible, I try to get a picture with them instead.

Besides the 300+ autographs I have from the adult industry (Everyone from Vanessa Del Rio to Cassidy) and plenty of pictures with all of them, When I was 18 I became an autograph collector and went everywhere for autographs. I have at least 200 Main Stream signatures such as:
Chris Farley, Phil Hartman, Adam Sandler and the entire 1994 SNL cast.
Tim Allen
Kelsey Grammer.
David Hyde Pierce.
Jay Leno.
David Letterman.
Conan O'Brian.
An autographed Mask Poster by Jim Carrey.
Jerry Seinfeld.
Tons of Athletes,Wrestlers, and Musicians (Including lots of Country stars)

I'm looking for a class on Framing and Matting so I can display them all right.
But I have only autographs that I have gotten face to face with the person myself.

Also, I've met Conan O'Brien numerous times, but never got his autoghraph.

OOOOO, and also I have an issue of Penthouse signed by these radio guys you might have heard of, Opus and Anthony I think their names are. They're pretty funny, you should check them out!

I got Joe Dimagio's autograph. Got it in San Francisco Airport when i was 10. Odd thing is that he signed a peice of a notebook. The Yankee Clipper -only signed joe dimagio not "joe dimagio Yankee clipper" like he always does and he only signs round memorobilia-baseballs and bats, not photos nor lned school paper. I wonder if he signed Maralyn Monroes Flat Wodden Casket

I also got joe d. He was a horrible person, not what you expect a living "legend" to be like. He rarely almost never to my knowlege signed anything beyond his signature. He would never add his number or HOF, or even yankee clipper to his signature, plus he charged me 150 bucks to sign a ball.
