| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00  | It's not that i believe everything that PETA wants me to, i read what they have to say and make an opinion based on what i think is right and wrong. I have read literature on animal rights that hasn't been from PETA, conditions in slaughterhouses, treatment of the animals, and human health issues surrounding meat. I am well informed and i don't decide to do something just because someone tells me to do it. Just one more thing.... how come no one responded to what i said about getting offended and how most of the people who posted in this thread get a big laugh out of people who get easily offended, and laugh at things like king gimp, and the whitney high kids, but now they're acting just like the very people they find so humorous? I was just wondering what everyone thinks about that. For me personally, i find certain things sad, but i think PETA was using the shark thing to attract attention.. for the "shock" value... i think O&A do some things for "shock" value too, (ex. wow on the today show, 'cunt' on live tv) so can't you understand it at least, instead of acting like an enraged soccer mom who's son just saw his first set of boobs on a morning show. I know death and boobs are two different things, but isn't it all to get attention? C'mon, death was funny when it envolved a conga line and a dance floor....what's the difference? | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | EDIT-I left something pasted here. Kid has a point I am an environmentalist cause I want to save the HUMAN race's ass. Once were gone the Earth will just destroy any remnants of us. Unless we dropped countless H bombs there won't be a problem for the Earth. But after a while the Earth will recover from that. As for cloning it's immoral because it's unsafe. If it was safe I would have no qualms. All the more reason to test on animals. Oh and if it wasn't for meat we would be still stuck in the stone age.
