This is incredible radio, and not even in a comedic sense.

O&A are saying what we are all thinking; someone must pay and fast.

They have been very classy this whole time. No jokes insulting the family of those injured, or anything. But they are doing an amazing job of still joking around without downplaying the tragedy.

Most definately. It's good to see this side of them. You have more respect for people when they act as they did today.

I've got the Dungeon Master's Guide. I've got a 12-sided die. I've got Kitty Pryde, and Nightcrawler too, Waiting there for me...Yes I do, I do. I've got posters on the wall. My favorite rock group Kiss. I've got Ace Frehley, I've got Peter Criss, Waiting there for me...Yes I do,I do. In the garage, I feel safe. No one cares about my ways. In the garage, Where I belong...No one hears me sing this song. In the garage, I've got an electric guitar. I play my stupid songs. I write these stupid words...and I love every one... Waiting there for me... Yes I do, I do.

Not gay at all, MikeWow. Today was confusing and frightening, right? Instead of listening to more, more, more news programs we got to hear the guys who we listen to 20 plus hours a week. Its awesome they went on and it was great to hear all the friends of the show check in and just talk about what happened in a manor that was serious, but not morbid. Great job Op and Ant!

it was really good for the boys to be on the air today.other stations were using the news people all day, and even if you loyally listen to a station, the news guy just seems out of plce when your host should be on.o&a came on, kept us informed, and we're comfortable with them.they kept some sense of rightness to the day, like our guys were there, and that its ok

and i know i've said some stuff that can be taken baddly up there...i cant put what i want to say into words.please read for the MESSAGE, not the words

O&A have always been great, and have given us all good radio. But, I would like to say that today was some of the best radio that I have heard in awhile. They were in my opinion, completely serious, and reverant. They expressed for themselves, and the rest of us to vocalize, and start to come to terms with our feelings about the (excuse the language) fucking bullshit that the damn towel-head Ben Salim perpetrated on us today.
Now what we need to do, both as a nation, and as a message board, is to put aside our petty differences, and help those that have been both directly, and indirectly affected by this tradgedy.
Guys, I just have one more thing to say...."give blood, it can help to save a life".
God Bless, and take care.

A very good show told from their perspective.
O&A pretty much said what was on our minds and let us, the people hear what is going on.

I agree with everyone. I was feeling very bummed out but I actually smiled once or twice during their show and they helped me to think that we shouldn't feel sorry for ourselves--we need to make these terrorist losers feel sorry they messed with us....
O&A, we all know that you guys didn't have to make the attempt to broadcast, but we're all glad you did. Thanks......

i have to say i am EXTREMELY impressed that O&A did a show today & how well they handled it.. Not only did it give you a different perspective on the issue.. they also sounded intelligent & compassionate.. Makes me an even bigger fan...
and mike i understand how you feel... something *reassuring* about listening to them. Kind of like your peers.
Good job, O, A & the rest of the gang...
I wish everyone well...

PS- on a comedic note I'm SO glad Jay didn't plug anything.. =) hope that got a smile out of anyone on this horrid day..

I'm not only very impressed with the boys, but Jim Norton got to me as well. He actually sounded like a very intelligent "human" being today. Great show...very tasteful.

I agree with all of you, and I'll add a bit more.
I began this day listening to the Sports Guys and even they handled it tremendously. Don & Mike were great today, esp. with all of their calls coming in from the DC area that we didn't know too much about here in NYC. And now Ron & Fez are like a venting board.

I live alone, and except for a few hours when my friend left work and walked 45 blocks up here, I've been alone all day. WNEW has been like having friends with me to talk to and ease my mind. If all I had was news guys, I may have flipped out.

So thank you to everyone at WNEW today for being there while you were needed.

what I have to give props to O&A and R&F about is this. You never get to hear what the real people feel. Everything is edited for TV, they get the 'best' quote. The two shows have the average person telling their own horror stories for four hours and that is why it's great.

I agree with you total WookiePoolParty and everyone else. I think all the shows on WNEW did a great job covering and helping today. It didn't seem like there were doing it for personal gain like some other exploiting TV broadcasts. God bless to all.
