So 2 markets are dropping the show nad 1 market is moving the show up.

Assuming this isn't wacky 4/01 stuff...

What are your guesses?

My guesses...

I'll be optimistic here and hope that WCKG-Chicago puts the guys at nights...unless Steve Dahl retires and they get the afternoon slot.

As for the 2 potential drops, gotta be a crappy AM. Seattle must top the list. I'll pick the Juice for the 2nd.

I change mine: Rochester will drop them. Why? They are on at night there and on in Buffalo. Opie said we'd be suprised. Maybe because of the relationship with Weez, we'd be "suprised".

It's very possible that this is an April Fool's prank, but...

I was told from a friend at the station that San Francisco is gone.

They might be in on the joke. Or, they might be doing this to intentionally mislead me.

But, Opie did say "...some people don't know how to sell the show." as one of the reasons why they're dropping the show. And, almost a year later, KYCY-AM still has only one or two commercials per commercial break, if they have any at all.

So, it's probably us. Nobody listens to KYCY-AM because of its weakass signal.

I seriously doubt they will be moving up in Dallas. It is unfortunate, but the guy they have in the 3-7 timeslot is here to stay, in fact he just signed a new contract a couple weeks ago that appearantly is for quite a bit of money. It is also unlikely that they would be moved to middays because the people they have in that slot here in dallas "Pugs and Kelly" are doing fairly well. The only slot that I can see them moving up to would be starting at 7 which would be nice because that means we wouldn't have to listen to Tom Lickass anymore.

Chicago has already moved, apparently. According to the website, O&A will be next, after Dahl at 7.

As far as drops, who knows.

As soon as they said it I thought it was there prank. But that's too boaring for O&A and now that they denied that this is a prank it would be lame, so that rules out that idea.

I really hope it isn't Buffalo, if it is I would have to quit my job, go to the station and and do something stupid.

I believe if they are dropped from the Infinity station, they are allowed to try and sign up a non-infinity station in that market

A caller said, this was around 6:30 EST today, that he stopped by "The Juice", Austin station and was wanting some WOW stickers.

He said they replied they were all out and wouldn't be getting any more in because they're being dropped.

Truthful or not, this is what was said on the show today. I hope not Columbus... but there have been rumors of a WAZU format change. However, I was told WAZU would flip to extreme talk, so I couldn't see them dropping O&A if they go extreme talk.

Ever since I moved out here to the west coast I have hoped they would find a way to get out of KYCY in San Francisco. The signal sucks ass and they just don't seem to have a clue at that station. Maybe they'll move from KYCY and find a better home and signal for their show.

I was the caller that went to the 1370AM station in Austin. Now I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna listen while I'm at work. No internet at work equals no Syn underground. Guess I'm fucked.

Hopefully they'll get on an FM station down here in AUSTIN!

Do any of you guys know of a way for me and my co-workers to listen to the show? I think we're kinda screwed without syn underground.

hmmmm...austin and san fran OUT! (allegedly) as far as listening in a market where they are not? S.U. :) ...unless, of course, if you tried that route already and it didn't work, well then my good sir, you are indeed "fucked".
