Now that we got that outa the way. What the fuck is up with you fucking bandwagon Yankee fans? I was just having an argument with this stupid arrogant asshole who's trying to bust my balls about being Mets Fan. Fuck You. I will never cheer for the Yankees - I support my team win or lose. That's what I call being a true "Die hard" fan. Now that both NY teams are contending, I truly enjoy the rivalry between the two teams, it makes baseball fun. I don't mind having arguements with true Yankee fans over who has a better team. But if you're going to talk shit, you better know something! This stupid Bandwagon Dick doesn't know when the next Subway series is (its 6/15-6/17 & 7/6-7/8 in case you're wondering), doesn't know the names of the players on the Yankees, and has no fucking idea which other teams are in the American League East . . . . and he's going to tell me that the Mets suck and that I'm cheering for the wrong team. How the hell is he going to tell me that bullshit, if he knows nothing about his own team! Fuck him and fuck all you bandwagon Yankee Fans you make me sick. Eventually, this team will break up and the Yankees will have a loosing season - and where the hell do you think this asshole and many like him will be? They'll probably be cheering Let's Go Mets at Shea. But you know what - if your a Bandwagon Yankee fan, you're not welcome at Shea! Have some balls and support your team. In conclusion, fuck all you bandwagon Yankee fans, and LETS GO METS! REMEMBER . . . LIFE SUX!! I am a yankee fan win or lose, but what pissed me off was the assholes who started buying hats and jersey's and all that other yankee memrobilia shit after the won the series in 1996. I used to wear my yankee hat and people would call me loser and they were the same people coming to school with fresh yankee hats and jackets when they won the series. I am also a ranger fan and where i worked i would wear lots of ranger jersey's and yankee jersey's and when the 95 season started for the rangers everyone was wearing hats and shit then a few months later. "Hey take that ranger sweater off loser." Fuck you i am a Ranger fan. The worst one was when i was buying some stamps at the post office. this cock told me to take off my leech jersey cause they suck. I told him to fuck off cause i wasn't a hanger on fan. he said "yeah well when the rangers one i got personalized ranger plates for my car" So what? doesn't matter how much memrobilia you own that makes you a a fan. What makes you a fan is when you know the players names and their history and when you still watch when they are losing. The way to really enjoy a championship is if you've rooted all out for the team through the good and bad years. Being a die hard Jets fan all my life I know what I'm talking about, after going through QB's like Browning Nagle and that horrible 1-15 season, that '98 season was definately one of the greatest thrills of my life. I can't even imagine how great it must feel to have your team win a championship after going through such bad times.  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Nothing beats the corporate frontrunner fans that get the field loge seats at the stadium, wear their brand new Jeter shirt, buy a hat outside before the game for $20 to "fit the image", buy their beers at the seats, and talk it up like they've been fans for years, but end up on their goddamn cell phones for most of the game bullshitting about how cool it is to be there - "you've gotts see these seats" (yes, I've run into this sort of fan on too many an occassion). Unfortunately, no matter what sport you like, your'e always gonna have these tools around - they do provide a lot of entertainment during a boring game, or one of those games where your team is just getting their asses handed to them. It sucks especially since the yanks are the second biggest bandwagon team in sports, only to the knicks. The entýre knicks season is sold out to corporate, cell-phone talking, "lets leave at halftime to beat the traffic" assholes, and real fans cant get a ticket to save their life. As for the yankees, there is no sadder sight to a real fan than to see some guy on a cell phone in the seats in front of you, asking the guy next to him who the players are. makes me fuckin sick. Plus the players of today who are furture hall of famers like williams and jeter. That is something no other team in any sport can cling to, having such a rich history.
