| O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00  | Long ago, when mail delivery was much more lenient of terrorism, fans of certain stars of TV or movies or even music would submit a request for a keepsake to ever reinforce their faithfulness to their icon: an autographed picture. Surely, at least a few of you have requested this in the past... Whose autographed pic do you have (have you had)? I used to have one of Denis Leary. God, do I regret losing it! This was only when his debut album was released in 1992. I still have a picture of the cast of Married with Children, sent to me originally in 1990. There were several hotties on TV in the 80's, but I never brought myself on to request their autopics, maybe cuz I was too shy. That's about all the autopics I remember having - or wanting... | O&A Board Regular Registered: Nov. 00 | When I was younger I got an autographed picture of: Danny Ponce who played Willy on The Hogan Family/Valerie's Family/The Hogan's/you get the point Wheels and Liz from Degrassi Junior High (remember that show?) And Bobby Vinton (singer from the 50's & 60's) Last time I checked I couldn't find any of these wasted pieces of paper, but I'm sure they are in my basement collecting dust. I have met many other more famous celebs (two Oscar winners) over the years but I have realized that there really is no point in getting their autograph unless you plan on selling it.  | ||||

I honestly couldn't give 2 craps that some celeb signed something for me. But when you meet the person, the autograph can be a reminder of it. Anyway, I have Mick Foley, Phil Rizzuto, and The Junk Yard Dog.

It just captured the feeling at the beginning of the 80's. The great USA, standing tall with victory and strength, but still unsure what is ahead.
