| O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01  | Over the past several days I've had WAY too much time on my hands to let my mind just wander away. Then my mind then sort of drifted off to the to the question if there is anything, whether it be a state of suspended animation, or heaven, or just reforming into a brand new body after you just pass away? I've never really put much thought into it before today, but ya really gotta hope that you get lucky to come back for another fucking crack at this crazy world. I do, because well....I'm not exactly perfect, in other words I screw up ALOT...but enough about me. What are your thoughts on this? Has it ever passed through your head?  Have a Question? | O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | i would like to think that there is a heaven and that i am going there, but i really just dont buy it. i think that everything just ends. your alive -> you die -> thats it. its nice to think that dead relatives are watching over you, but i dont see that happening. i went to a funeral a few weeks ago, and looking at the body, everyone is saying "shes in a better place now" and if that helps you deal with things, then fine, believe whatever you want, but i just dont see that. Good boy = Heaven Trouble Maker = Hell But now that I'm older I've seriously began to question all these beliefs and everything that go along with them. That includes science, as was previously mentioned. At this point I do believe in a God. Is it the Catholic God? I honestly don't know. I just think that if deep inside you know you're a good person, then you are. I don't think other people's perceptions of good and bad matter, as long as you know you're a good guy when it comes down to it. That obviously doesn't mean going and killing people. In the end, I think if you realize that you've done some good you'll go to whatever it is that Heaven is and finally leave this slag heap of a world behind.
