So my question is: how do you add the Color fade effect to Text (like Rookie's above)? They have this option in PSP7, but it kinda sucks. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. "why do you cry? | Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | The effect you want is called "outer glow", you can use it in conjunction with the "bevel and emboss". both of these options can be found in the layer style dialogue. Create your text, and then double-click on the text layer in your layers window. this will bring up the "layer style" dialogue. there are many effects to play with. just experiment, until you get the effect you like. you may also want to check out the site I posted before DesignsByMark

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Sorry for the double post.... Doug, that was happening to me when I was trying ones from astalavista. I even think that Kid's patch was one I tried from there, and I got the same error message. Try uninstalling, and reinstalling psp... then run the patch. I JUST got it to work by doing that.

I just saw the pic of Buzz Lightyear doing that chick, and then Kid changed it to reflect your sig pic's head on Buzz's body. I think stuff like that is incredible. How the hell do you make something like that? I would love to learn that stuff, but don't think the tutorial in the program will actually help me there.
