| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Ok i downloaded the Photoshop 6.0 tryout. From what I understand I can pay 600 for a serial number and it will upgrade to the full version. I have a few serial numbers that I would use but I can't find a way in the tryout to enter them in and upgrade to the full version. Can anyone help me on this one? | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I've been thinking of picking Photoshop up lately, I'm currently using PSP 5 (it really blows) but I'm hearing Photoshop is a serious resource hog, and slows the PC down like rain on an expressway - is this true? I'm puttering on a 400 mhz PII, so I'm thinking it might not be the smatest thing to get (paying for it or otherwise). Would love to use something better than PSP, what a pain in the ass it is. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Jan. 01 | Hey Goat, it is a resource hog, but I am running both PSP 5 and Photoshop 6 on a PII 350 laptop and they run fine. I also have 128MB of ram though. That is the key. But, PSP5 looks alot like Photoshop now. They modeled the newest version after Photoshop. | ||||
