I agree with you though, I hate loose ends and if it is creating that much stir amongst the fans, it's obviously something that should be explained. Don't pull a Sopranos and just drop storylines without any explanation.
I think as long as Nina is still alive that we will find out what was said eventually. Probably by the end of this season.

I like him and all, but I don't consider him as being strong enough as the lead.
Bring in some new blood. One thing that pisses me off is Tony rarely ever leaves CTU and goes out into the field. He has the training. I think he could have been a kick ass field agent character. I hate chase and in the beginning of this season I was afraid that they were going to kill jack and replace him with chase but I don't see it happening.
I like Tony too. He's one of my favorite characters, but the show would have to be renamed to 1 since within the first hour of him actually leaving CTU this season he was shot and nearly killed.
I don't think he'd be able to survive a full day. :biggrin:
That was the way they got dickhead chapelle back into ctu. If he were back in the field Chapelle would be there already and no need to shoot tony.
