Bah, if you get the right vehicle, it can last you 8-10 years no problem. JBE, I think you got your money's worth out of the car. You now have to do a gut check. If you have been making car payments to yourself for the past year (i.e. put asside $400 a month) this would be an easier decision. Myself, I have a 95 Nissan truck that is going to last me another 5 year, but then again, it never got me laid.
