Actually, you can find the chunk kind here, too. Especially northern diners. I agree, though that the grated (shaved) kind kicks much ass. And with that, you're like one step from a potato pancake!

The Southern gravy has never been duplicated here either. I'd make the drive for breakfast alone.

If you like that, you need to try a Bob Evans. They actually have a "Bowl Of Gravy" on the menu. Comes with little bits of sausage in the gravy, and biscuits on the side. Gotta love hick food.

Beer: Bud sucks. It's made from rice- 'nuff said. But Canada isn't all quality... they do make Black Label. Beer secret: "Molson Canadian" has more alcohol in it than regular Molson. The best Canadian beer is Elsinore.
