The reason we need a friend in Iraq is because you just can't trust the Jews.

songs that made the hit parade,
guys like us we had it made,
those were the days,
and you know where you were then,
girls were girls and men were men,
mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again,
didn't need no welfare states
everybody pulled his weight,
gee our old Lasalle ran great,
those were the days!</center>

Always trying to bargain more than there full share, then pulling the nose card anytime we get an advantage.

As reported by CNN it is highly unusual for networks to refuse to broadcast a Presidential speech when the time slot is requested.
scanning the channels I noticed that about 5 minutes into the speech, NBC's conscience must of gotten the better of them and they began broadcasting the speech.
I think this is sweeps week though, so in the networks defence it's understandable.

I meant to scan through the networks to see if anyone changed their mind. My coworker told me the networks weren't going to run it and she further said that it would be on radio. I guess she assumed it meant it was a TV blackout. Hello, even if the cable new channels decided not to run it you'd still be able to see it on Cspan at least.

As far as I'm concerned I have never watched a presidential address on network television since the whole cable news thing started up. Networks can do whatever they want. If someone wants to watch the swan more than the president. That's cool. They'll be misinformed the following day at the water cooler.
