Quote:I wouldn't mind the Knicks getting the 2nd or 3rd pick and getting my man Carmelo Anthony

FB, that's not even fucking funny. I'm still pissed at 'Melo for bagging it after his frosh season, but its kinda tough to turn down $3-$4 million a year.....but, to HOPE the Knicks pick him up...that's just wrong. Remember the last 'Cuse star they picked up...John Wallace. He dominated their summer play and really showed he had the skills. But what did those fuckwads do when the season started.....put him on the bench behind that fossil Oakley and limited him to 5 minutes/game. What a fucking waste of talent....and because of those assholes, where is Wallace playing now?
Dammit, I knew I should have made that left turn at Albequerque

I have a feeling, that even if they did get Carmelo, he would sit the bench behind Houston and Sprewell. If they got Darko, he would be a bust just becausse the Knicks took him.

First off Carmelo Anthony won us a National Championship, he can do whatever he wants, god bless him. How can you blame the guy for leaving? what else does he have to prove.

Second off, for as good as Wallace was for the Orange, he's not in the same league as Carmelo Anthony. Wallace was the wrong guy for the Knicks in that era. A team that strived everything on defense, something Wallace could not do.

And its not the Knicks fault that Wallace's NBA career was nothing. He played for Toronto, Phoenix, and Detroit and couldnt do anything in any of those places either.

But now it looks like Anthony is probably going to end up in Detroit. Not a bad rebound for the Pistons, who are about to get swept away by the Nets.

I saw an article today about some 6'10 17yr old kid from Greece who they call "baby shaq". The knicks should look at this guy. All I want for the knicks is to draft someone and not trade the pick. Layden is clueless so you never know. Layden makes Ed tapscott ( the genius who drafted Frediric Weis) look good.
